Decarbonizing road transport fleets in remote and mountainous regions presents significant challenges as well as opportunities. BrAle is piloting Mauka Energy's patented BEVER combined with the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory's T3CO model toolset to develop total cost of ownership tools to support the implementation of hybrid and electrified vehicles to the Lithium mining supply chain in Argentina.
The CRIM has proved to be an effective tool in improving road transport safety and performance in the Lithium supply chain in Argentina. However the pilot operation necessitated a high level of intervention to ensure successful operation. Seeking to scale the CRIM to larger and more geographically diverse operations, an end-to-end automation process is being developed. This process will utilise commercial verification services and Artifical Intelligence to ensure robust application of CRIM porotocols, provide digitized inspection tools and automated approval processes
The platform will provide a seamless experience for the conduction of CRIM assessments with mobile devices, physical report generation, issue management, reporting of vehicle status and reporting of performance to the CRIM framework over time.
